Knitted week, 28th May 2020

Good day everyone,

Today I am starting a blog about all kinds of crafts I take part in. I will be sharing patterns I wrote myself and links to patterns of others.

Never before have I been so productive, crafting wise. I don't get distracted as easily as before and get quite a lot of work done. Since a few weeks I have discovered the wonders of knitting podcasts on YouTube, furthermore I have discovered the wonderous world of ravelry. I. Am. In. Love. Never before was it so easy for me to have acces to a vast amount of patterns. Truly, if you have never been on there, please go have a look at ravelry.com .

Now, what am I working on these days?

First of all, I am making a poncho designed by wolplein.nl . It was a new technique for me and I am excited to get to work on it again. Second of all, I am knitting, yes, knitting, a sweater. For all who don't know me yet, I am a crochet artist mostly, but now I knit. I am knitting a sweater out of black yarn I received years ago and am already falling in love with it.

Then, what have I finished?

I finished 2 pairs of socks in the past 2 weeks, which you can find on my instagram. One pair for me and one pair for my mom. These are what made me fall in love with the technique of knitting, and I am so happy to share it with you all.

Good day everyone, welcome back to my blog! Today I shall once again give you an update, sadly I still have no Finished Objects to take pictures of and put them on here, but hopefully that will be soon. So, let's get into it. So, my first work in progress is still my knitted sweater, sigh. I had to rip out the front panel when I was halfway, because only then I realized I made a mistake. I did get myself up and started all over again immediately, but I've only been able to do a few rows since then. I do hope to finish it before the summer is at its hottest, but we'll see I guess. Dream wardrobe week 3, 25th June 2020

Good day everyone, oh my, I haven't been very productive this week, especially clothing wise. I have been doing much research for my final school project, which I will soon start making youtube videos for. Honestly, I just wanted to make sure I uploaded this week, but don't have much to tell you, so let's get through this quickly. I am working on some socks for my boyfriend and I am crocheting some doylies. The crochet makes me so happy again. It is way too hot to knit or crochet all the time, so I haven't started any new works. I did finish another pair of socks for myself last weekend, so now I have got 3 pairs of knitted socks, it makes me very happy. One last thing I wanted to mention is that my boyfriend has gotten me some double pointed needles and a woolwinder, so much more knitting fun to come! ps.
